Missionary Training Institute (MTI) is an intensive missionary training approach that was designed by experienced missionaries to accelerate the learning process required to live cross-culturally & acquire the needed skills to develop new, creative, contextualized ministries in an ever-changing global environment.

MTI is a six-week pratical mission training institute that is taught in three block courses that can be taken for academic credit at the BA & MA levels through APTS & other institutions. MTI's multi-national lecturers have a passion for missions & average 20 years practical field experience. Mentoring with these experienced missionaries & mission leaders is a vital part of the training experience. MTI is used by mission agencies from several countries for training their missionaries.

This program is uniquely designed for effective ministry within the Asia Pacific region of Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) & the Assemblies of God Asian Missions Association.
