APTS regularly conducts two lectureship series: The William Menzies Annual Lectureship and the Occasional Pentecostal Lectureship.

William Menzies Annual Lectureship is an important academic event in the school year, normally taking place in January. Noted scholars present lectures on a variety of current topics in theology, biblical studies, missions, and ministry. Past lecturers include Roger Stronstad (Western Pentecostal Bible College, Canada), Stanley Horton (Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, USA), Walter C. The Occasional Pentecostal Lecture Series provides a forum for the presentation of major Pentecostal traditions by experts. Past speakers include Vinson Synan (Regent University, USA) on a general overview of American Pentecostalism; Mathew Clark (Apostolic Faith Mission College, South Africa) on South African Pentecostalism; Jean-Daniel Plüss (Switzerland) on European Pentecostalism; William Menzies (APTS) on the non-Wesleyan background of American Pentecostalism; David Daniels (McCormick Seminary, USA) on Black Pentecostalism; Frank Macchia (Vanguard University, USA) on Issues in Pentecostal Theology; A.C. George (Southern Asia Bible College, India) on Indian Pentecostalism; Peter Hocken (Mother of God Community, USA) on the Roman Catholic Charismatic Movement; David Reed (Wycliffe College, Canada) on Oneness Pentecostalism; Greg Miller (Malone University, USA) on Charismata in the Late Medieval and Early Modern Periods; and Martin Mittlestadt (Evangel University, USA) on Reading Luke-Acts in the Pentecostal Tradition.
